Sallie's Fruit Filled Sourcream's Inspiration
Sallie Marie Renfroe (all of her grandchildren called her Nanny) was my Dad’s mother. The mother of nine children, Nanny was a petite lady, about 5 foot 2, with light skin, crystal clear grey eyes, soft wavy, shoulder-length hair. Rarely, did we see Nanny when she did not have a Bible in her hand, a song on her lips and a subtle smile on her face.
